 | CROSSROADS SCHOOL HAS TWO CAMPUSES located two blocks apart in Santa Monica. They express the warmth, diversity, and comprehensive nature of the school’s vision. The Elementary School, on the Norton campus, provides a nurturing home for three hundred K-5 students taking their first steps on the Crossroads journey. Middle and Upper School students are inspired by the eclectic style of the 21st Street campus. The Sports Center on the Norton Campus provides the K-12 link that binds the three divisions closely into one school with a shared vision. |
| ES The Elementary School building opened in September of 1997. Spacious, child-friendly classrooms, an extensive library, computer and science laboratories, and special rooms dedicated to music, art, and drama make this a cheerful, exciting place to start exploring the world.

 | MS and US The Middle and Upper School campus has evolved as the school has grown.

It now houses a thriving community of over eight hundred students in grades six through twelve. Crossroads’ enthusiastic approach to diversity is reflected in its wide variety of building styles. Building forms range from aesthetically distinguished to urban industrial. Building functions include fully equipped laboratories, a student resource center, a black box theater, music performance space, computer centers, a digital arts media lab, a photography lab, a modern language lab, the Peter Boxenbaum Arts Education Centre (with two dance studios, art studios, a community art gallery, and a screening room), and the striking 32,500 volume Paul Cummins Library.

Sports CenterThe Sports Center unites the two campuses because it is used extensively by all groups within the community. It is a K-12 facility with a regulation soccer field, professional gymnasium, and competition swimming pool. The gymnasium building includes a large multi-purpose Community Room that meets the school’s needs for additional performance space, division-wide student meetings, and community gatherings. |
